Jos Valiant Youths Face DSS Seeking To Arrest Prophet Elbuba Over Comments on Buhari
Detectives of the Department of State Securities (DSS) are said to be having a hard time arresting Prophet Isah Elbuba of the EBOMI Christian Ministries Jos After the time with Jesus meeting at about 7pm.
The detectives who have been hanging around the headquarters of the Church along Pump Street Jos for hours in a bid to pick the renowned preacher over his comments against Buhari, sources say have been firmly resisted by brave youths.
A source who is currently on the premises of the church told MKB that the preacher has not been arrested, contrary to speculations.
“He is still in his office and the DSS has not left.
“People are trooping in in solidarity.
“Youths are protesting the arrest, saying no one will take him,” the source said.
Proph. Elbuba in a TV broadcasted sermon said the wickedness of leadership in Nigeria is due to the lack of a righteous leader.
He particularly referred to the killings in parts of the country by herdsmen which President Buhari has been slow at resolving.
He, therefore, called Christians to obtain their PVCs and vote the President out in 2019.
“We will not use AK47, we will not use guns but we will use our voter’s cards,” he said.
As at the time of publishing this report, the National Secretariat of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) was yet to receive news of the development.
When contacted, the Legal Adviser of the body, Barr. Samuel Kwamkur said, “I am not aware yet, though I have been out of Jos for some days now.”
