Buhari reacts to 1-1 draw Betwwen Cameroon vs Nigeria in Yaounde
President Muhammadu Buhari has called Nigerians to commend the Super Falcons, following their 1-1 draw with Cameroon, in a 2018 World Cup qualifying diversion on Monday in Yaounde.
Buhari posted a photo of himself watching the match on television and tweeted: “We should praise our Super Falcons, holding Cameroon to an attract Yaoundé. The walk to #Russia2018 proceeds, and they have all our help!”
The Eagles survived early weight, before they led the pack through Simon Moses, who lashed in on a free ball.
Nigeria wasted a few opportunities to two fold the lead, before goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa fouled Djoum Arnaud inside the territory.
The referee indicated the spot and Vincent Aboubacar kept his nerves to make it 1-1 with 15 minutes left.
The outcome sees the Falcons stay best of Gathering with 10 focuses, while Zambia who play Algeria on Tuesday are second with four points.
One sterling qualities about our beloved President is the fact that he is quite frugal. Imagine his house in Daura like an ordinary Nigerian home without the expected expensive furniture you would imagine him to have. Just take a look at the tv stand!!
