Arsene Wenger reveals when Lacazette will return to Arsenal side
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed when French forward Alexandre Lacazette will return to the first team following an injury.
The striker hasn’t had the greatest of seasons with the Gunners having joined in a big money move from Lyon to London in the summer.
Not only that, his form, as well as an injury, saw Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang brought into the club.
That looks likely to limit the players’ chances in the first team but his return from injury would no doubt be a positive for an Arsenal side who have struggled of late.
Despite wins against Watford and AC Milan, the side lost four consecutive games prior to that.
It’s safe to say that having one of their big money strikers would no doubt help their form and start pushing up the table.
Now, Arsene Wenger has revealed that the player could actually return to the side after the upcoming international break.
“Lacazette is coming back into training,” said the Arsenal boss.
“But he is too short to be available for tomorrow (to play AC Milan).
“He’s on track. He had a full session outside today and should be available after the break.”
Should Lacazette return, that would no doubt see their attacking options boosted, especially if they progress in the Europa League against AC Milan tomorrow?
